unmountable boot volume after imaging DOM

Hi,
i have a 4GB DOM drive, with XPe 2002 SP2, which i would like to image to a standard IDE hard drive.
I tried GHOST, but after imaging process finished successfully, i booted the standard IDE hard drive as master and got a BSOD with "unmountable boot volume" error (on same achine as the DOM)
what am i doing wrong?
