Tip on booting Flash DOM's

Hi,

just wanted to share my exepirence with Flash DoM's.
I've created a build of XPe that worked perfectly on a regular HD.
when I tried to transfer (using ghost) and boot the build on some new Flash
ATA DOM's
that we aquired, I recieved "NTLDR is Missing.." error message.
although everything seemed ok at first sight (NTLDR uncompressed, partition
set active, etc..)
the solution was finally to FDISK /MBR the flash and then transfer the image
again.
apperantly it seems that the original partition created by the manufacturer
is interfering and is recognized by ghost by a smaller size then it realy
is.

another problem I encountered was when trying to image the build to ghost-
my Asus P4P800 board
refused to boot to CD when the DOM was connected to other IDE controller but
the primary.
it always got stack on "Verifying DMI Pool Data..". so use the primary
instead of the secondary or other PCI IDE controllers.
the flash Dom's I use are Apacer 192MB (SST 55LD017B) that connects to the
IDE bus.

hope it will help someone.
