XPe Stop 0x0000007B BSOD

Hi all,

I have had a lot of problems booting XPe from a DOM. I'm using a motherboard
with two SATA IDE and a third (emulated) PATA IDE where the DOM is
connected.
After reading the article
http://www.seanliming.com/Docs/XPE Stop 0x0000007B Error V1.3.pdf I
made a lot of tests without success. Neither MinLogon nor WinLogn solution
based are able to boot.
I solved performing FBA from a SATA disk and then cloning the final OS to
the DOM.
No driver was missing as the DOM now boots successfully.
I think this is due to how FBA works in its early steps.

This is just for share.

Regards.

Heh, I wish you had posted this 2 weeks ago! :)

I spent a couple of days banging my head against a brick wall getting XPe
to boot from USB flash drive. Tried both FAT and NTFS formats and various
'bootprep'-like utilities. BSOD every time...

I'm using a SATA drive atm - doing development on it atm so it's fine for
now...

Thanks for the post! It needs to go on Microsoft's front page!!!

Regards,
Mark
