uninstalled XP

Uninstalled XP and reverted back to Win 98, when computer boots up, I get an otional choice of Install Microsoft XP or cancel install, either choice lets me go on into 98, but returns every time I boot up computer
 
once you get to your desktop, open msconfig in run dialog
edit the boot.ini to remove the XP boot sector,
the boot sector recognizes that you uninstalled the OS but left boot sector info for you in case you want to reinstall (if you dont have the CD in the tray, the install selectoin will revert to exsting OS...I think)
