UnInstalled Norton Now windows wont boot

i uninstalled norton and now when i try to boot, my pc makes it through the
windows load screen and then displays the BSOD. it says that there is a
hardware problem and says i should start in Safe Mode and install any new
hardware.

now safe mode works. so i dont know whats going on.

Norton's uninstaller tends to leave remnants on your system. It may
be likely that some of the Non-Plug & Play Services are attempting
to start and triggering the BSOD.
Symantec offers a number of specific removal tools, such as SymNRT.
But you didn't note which exact Norton product you removed, so I
can't tell you which tool to download/use.

Contact the Author of the program you are having a problem with. This is
NOT an XP problem.
