It is a bit more complicated than that.
First you need to edit your boot.ini file. This is a hidden file and it is read-only as well.
Open Windows Explorer and click on the Tools menu. Select Folder Options...
Click on the View tab. In the Advanced settings area select the radio button labled "Show hidden files and folders"
Click OK
Now, in Windows Explorer you should be able to see the boot.ini file. Just expand My Computer and select Local Disk (C

Right-click the boot.ini file and select Properties.
Clear the Read-only check box and click OK.
Now you can double-click the boot.ini file.
Remove the line that has the operating system you no longer wish to use.
You will then need to determine which Windows files to delete from the hard drive. USE CAUTION! You do not want to delete the Operating System that you are currently using. Since I do not know how you installed your Operating Systems, I cannot advise you on how to determine this. Typically, the C:\Windows folder indicates a Windows 98 folder and the C:\winnt folder indicates Windows 2000.
Hope this helps
