Uninstall and reinstall the updates

Hi,
I am using WIN XP Pro and duly updated via online installation. If I choose to uninstall them and later on again try to reinstall them- how far it is possible? ( those update installation setup files are stored somewhere in HD?)

If you uninstall one of the Updates, the next time you go to the Windows Update site you should be offered that Update to re-install.
