Fabrizio

Hi!

I am running Win 98 Se and Win XP Pro in my computer. I would like to remove
Win98 from my computer keeping Win XP Pro. As far as I know the only way I
have is format the entire HD and reinstall Win Xp and so on....

Does anybody know a method to uninstall Win98 without formatting the HD?

Thanks

Hardly. Boot to the WinXP system, open Windows Explorer and delete the Win98
system folders. Then start/run "C:\boot.ini" and remove the line that
references it from the [operating systems] section.
