unexplained remote reboots

Hi
Can someone please put me out of my missery.

Background:
3 x w2kpro machines networked in a workgroup.
All have static IP addresses and each one can ping each other.
In My Network Places each machine can see each networked PC.
Each PC has a share for testing.

Now the problem:
In My Network Places if I double click on any other PC this triggers a
reboot of the remote PC.

Can anyone explain this and most importantly explain how to fix this.

Your help will be appreciated.

how were the computers installed? (image or normal installation?)
I have seen that on imaged computers, without sysprep run.

All were installed over a network with network boot disk.
