Unable to uninstall

I have two programs that I have tried to uninstall. They will not uninstall
because I get a message "Cannot read install.log". One of the programs will
not run at all no matter what I do. I have been using it every day and when I
turned on the computer this AM, I clicked the icon, got the hourglass for two
seconds and then nothing. Checked task master and the program was not
running. Went to RUN, browsed for the program and it would not run. Tried to
uninstall and the rest is history. Can someone please help? Using Windows XP.
Thanks!

Try re-installing them and then do the un-install.

Tried to re-install and got a message that I could not install because the
program was already installed.

Sorry, I'm using the wrong wording. These programs were not installed, they
were downloaded on the internet. I have used one of them every day for 3
years and never had a problem.

Hi go to this web site and download Registry Crawler. Install it run it check
all the Hkey boxes , then type in the name of the program that you have
installed it will find
all everything on it in the registry , then highlight them then delete them.
Then you can reinstall or just delete the folder. The program is worth its
weight in gold.

Umm you would still have to install them. Double click on the executable
file you downloaded, and go through the install procedure again. Then see if
you can un-install them.
