uninstalling yahoo toolbar

A friend of mine accidentally downloaded the yahoo toolbar on my computer. I
am trying to uninstall it, but a box keeps popping up that says "Install.log
not found. This file is necessary for the uninstall to continue." Anyone
know how to fix this? Thank you!

You may simply need to re-install it, then immediately un-install it.
