What does "Wise Uninstall" mean

I am trying to uninstall a program and the message that keeps popping up is the above followed by
"Invalid Install.log file". Could someone please tell me what that means and how I might be able to solve my problem

uninstall it?

The uninstall funtion of the software is either missing

or corrupted.(Wise is just the name of the software to
uninstall).As Roger said it's best to reinstall it and
then remove it.Try searching for the program I'm sure its
still out there.

Hi Zinnia,

Can you try to get it from the Internet again? It's just that
Add/Remove is the best way to uninstalll programs, if you go on and
delete their folders, this will cause that a lot of the program's
entries remain in the registry and it could lead to a corrupt
registry, which one wants to avoid at all costs.

If you know the name of the company/individual that developed the
software, you can contact them for more information about uninstalling
it.
