Unable to Uninstall

I've recently run into the problem where I can't uninstall anything. I'm
trying to free up a bit of room on my computer so I can install a new game or
two, but have been unable to remove programs from my computer without
manually deleting them. The programs I've been trying to delete are: Far Cry,
CoD2, Doom 3, The Movies, etc. I'm running XP home edition, with service pack
2 installed, and have two anti-virus applications running (Microsoft
Anti-spyware and Norton Antivirus 2005). I've tried uninstalling from the
start menu and the add/remove menu, but it always just gets halfway through
the "Installshield Wizard" then quits. Thanks!

MS has a tool which worked well for me.
