Unable to surf the internet with Windows XP Home dial-up

I have a pc with Windows XP Home Edition. Internet was
set up and functioning thru dial-up. Now, I am able to
dial and connect to the internet but, not able to surf,
get page unable to display this page.... Connected the pc
to a network thru a hub and it is not able to see the
other pc (running XP Pro). Removed all network settings,
modem, and nic. Re-setup and still not able to browse the
internet or the network. Ran spyware programs and removed
over 200 hundred entries but, still not able to browse.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Problem solved. Deleted winsock and winsock2 from the
registry and re-installed. This corrected the problem.

I'm having the same problem, but i'm not sure what you
did to solve the problems, can you offer some help?
