Unable to send mail from Vista

S

Sandy

I have quite a few problems with Vista. I understand my work VPN doesn't
work with Vista yet. My newest concern though is emailing pictures. I just
installed a program to get put my pics on my computer however when I went to
email the pics they never arrived. I realized they were coming from a
Microsoft email account which I didn't know existed. How do I go about
finding a password and username to an account I didn't even know existed?
The emails are all waiting in que but they are not arriving to their
destination. Plus since Vista doesn't support http email addresses, how do
I find the POP3...info especially since I have a mobile broadband modem, not
direct internet access.

Please help at (e-mail address removed).

Thanks!

Sandy - I'm having the same problem. My messages are stuck in the "out box"
and I've tried everything. I am using Windows mail - I have some important
messages that need to get out - I need help too!

I'm sorry, but your problem statement is so confusing that I can't
make heads or tails out of it.

Gary. Why in heck doesn't MS just send WLM as a "necessary" Windows update
to everyone who doesn't already have it. It would be a gift. It's been 1 week
and not a glitch. Thanks again. Wayne

Microsoft may just do that in conjunction with releasing Service pack 1
for Vista later this year.

Don't forget WLM is still in beta testing, so MS can't present it as a
fully qualified replacement for WM at this point.

hey guys , I did what Gary said. I went into tools options advanced and
compacted the folder and did all that jazz. It worked. so my problem
disappeared. all the waiting messages in the outbox were sent. i composed a
new message and it was sent. so so far so good. any new problems i will post
immediately.

i hope this helps everyone.
