Unable to open more than one browser window

Chris

No matter what I try I can not open more than one
window. When I pick on a link or pick "open in new
window" the parent window is replaced with the new
window. I have the "Reuse window for launching
shortcuts" unchecked. I have tried un-installing and re-
installing. I am running Windows XP pro.

Thanks,
Chris

Chris,

I have the exact same problem!

Hopefully someone can discover a resolution.

.
I had the same problem, and I was searching the
newsgroups for an answer. Since I couldn't find a good
solution, I did what most people would do, start from
scratch.
I have an internet explorer icon on my desktop, I deleted
that shortcut, and used the one in the program files to
open the browser. Once the browser was opened, I tested
to see if a new session would open, and it did.
Apparently in my case the shortcut in my desktop was the
problem, it may have been infected, because when I ran
Norton Anti Virus, it found 6 infected files. At least
this was my answer, hopefully yours may be that easy as
well. Good Luck, Vinnie.
