After installing XP Home Edition, and all the updates, I am now unable to
run any CD burning programs. Nero, CloneCD or Cdrwin. How do I get aspi
drivers installed to get the burner programs to work??? thanks in advance..

Those are 3rd party programs, not Microsft stuff. You need to get the XP
versions from those 3rd parties. But don't forget that XP has built-in
CD-Writer ability, so maybe you don't need them (at least not right away).
Search the built-in XP Help and Support, use the word "writer" for a search
term. If you did all your updates (the Windows ones, too, and not just the
critical ones) then you already have HIMAT support too. Consider getting the
latest version of Roxio's EZ Media Creator 7.

I had this problem and Nero support told me to use ASPI version
4.60, specifically, and provided procedural info on removing the
ASPI drivers I had been using prior. I'd contact nero to verify
what I'm saying and they will provide a link for that ASPI
driver with all necessary info you'll need to do this properly.
I've had no problems with this since they helped me.
