Unable to get IP Address from DHCP

Guest

I'm on a Domain where one of the PC's on the system keeps getting the
microsoft automatic IP.

The DHCP seems not to be assigning an address to this PC.

I had the problem with another machine, when I rebooted the Server it
started working just fine.

This machine however keeps getting the automatic address even when I do an
IPconfig release or uninstall and reinstall the NIC.

Can anyone advise??

I've even tried a NEW NIC and still the same.

Fifi,

The error " Limited Or No Connectivity" has so many possibilities.

What is the DHCP server? Does it have available scope (assignable addresses)?
If you manually assign an ip address to the problem computer, can you ping the
DHCP server successfully?

Check the problem computer for LSP / Winsock corruption.
