DHCP Client not recieving IP address

Hello I have a wireless router that couples as a DHCP server and I have
noticed that my PC on the LAN hasn't an IP address although my wireless NIC
has had a Dynamic IP address. When i try IPCONFIG /renew - I get error-
windows cannot find the file specified, I am not even getting the APIPA
address.

Any ideas???

Did you scan for virus/malware/pest/spy?
Did you try removing and reloading the TCP/IP protocol and
the NIC?

I'm a little confused. I get that your using a wireless router with DHCP capabilities.

The PC on the LAN does it have a wired NIC and a Wireless NIC?

Are all NIC's without an IP address?

Are you running XP sp1?

If you do have 2 NIC in your computer and both are connected to the Router one wired and one wireless then one will have to be a static IP and place in a different subnet.

If you clairify, I will check back later.
