Unable to get Free trial for the Etrust for Vista

Hi,
I went to the Etrust for Vista site to get the free trial Vista AV
https://www.my-etrust.com/SubscriptCenter/MSTrialRegistration.aspx?cid=1855&lang=en-US

I registered and was got an email that directed me to another site:

http://store.digitalriver.com/servl...omePage&SiteID=caconsum&Locale=en_US&Env=BASE

Which didn't have any thing about the Vista AV. It was the Home and Home Office Store.
It did have a link to free trail software but the Vista AV was not there.
http://home3.ca.com/SubscriptCenter/TrialCenter.aspx?lang=en-US

I tried this several times but always got the same links.

Has anyone got the correct link?

Have a good day,

I've got an email from them that lead me to a page with the
key and a download-link.The link didn't work,

HTTP 404 -- File Not Found

so I looked for the file on their ftp-server and eventually
found it. It installed fine eith the provided key. The link
is still broken, btw!

haven't installed it yet cause Vista isn't installed yet. Will try it when I install Vista.

The latest builds of Avast are running fine in the latter builds of Vista.
The Vista compatible is also the same package that works on XP so just go to
their Avast Home free version download page.

Hi Rock,
Thanks. Now I have to decide which one to use.
Maybe both of them?

It's ok to have two AV programs installed, just make sure only one is memory
resident for active scanning. The other can be used for on demand scanning,
second opinion or to get a feel for which one you like.
