Hi,
RC1 installed with no errors but I couldn't get my HD Realtek ALC 882 chipset to work I updated the driver and it said
it was working with no problems but still could not hear any sound.

I than tried to update my regular Legacy driver and that stopped my HD from working
I think it said it had to shut down the Realtek HD Audio Control Panel.I know I had the HD AND the regular legacy items
in Control Panel.

I know other people have had problems with this but they did get it to work but after searching this N/G could not find
out how they did it.

Have a good day,

Correction:I updated the driver because I had no sound. Where I am using an OEM version maybe that is why I don't have
sound?
I don't want to reinstall RC1 until I know I will have sound cause I may have to do either a clean install Without a new
partition or and upgrade. Had problems with the last install with the MBR really caused a mess.

Hi,
If anyone has the time to spare they can get the Realtek drivers:
PLEASE make sure you have a lot of time it took me 14 HOURS to D/L 11.9 MB @ 249 BYTES/s
In 1993 I had a connection with CompuServe for 300 b/s They didn't make much progress!
You can download the latest driver from our web site.
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads...=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

Our server has heavy internet traffic lately. We'll increase our internet bandwidth soon. Please keep trying for the time being.
