Unable to delete Folders/Files

Hello all.
I made a backup using "ntbackup.exe" and restored some
files to a different drive so I could check them against
some new files on my original location, now I am unable
to delete them. I get an "ACCESS DENIED" message.

Does anyone know how I could do this.
I have tryed changing access to them, it won't allow me
to do that either. Please help.
I have tryed loging in in safe mode, can't delete them
either.

I have a WINDOWS XP and both drives are in NTFS
