Unable to Attach Photos

When I open My Pictures, select a picture and click Email and select the size
and click attach nothing happens. It used to open my email client Windows
Mail and I could see the attched picture and send it to the recipient but
nothing happens now, How do I fix this?? Anyone got an answer?? Outlook
Express was installed (don't know how it got there) and it kept going there
and asking me for a profile, but I have uninstalled that email client, but
still no luck with this method of attaching pictures .

I don't understand your reference to Outlook Express or a My Pictures folder,
since that sounds more like XP than Vista.
This newsgroup is only for the support of Vista's Windows Mail program.
Make sure Windows Mail has all of its defaults:
Open the Default Programs applet, which you can access either from
the Start menu or via the Control Panel, then click the first item:
"Set your default programs."
After a few seconds, a list of programs comes up. Click on "Windows
Mail". If it doesn't respond with "This program has all its defaults"
then fix it by clicking on the option indicated by the first green arrow.
