unable to access Windows XP newsgroup

I am unable to access the XP newsgroup from my home laptop which is the one
running on XP pro. Evertime I try to access I get the dnserror message.

FYI, I have Zone alarm pro and norton antivirus 2004 pro running. I did try
after stopping ZA pro but with the same results.

Please help
