So why do they call it Ultimate Extras when there really are not any to be
had? TO date I believe Microsoft has released about 4 free extras for the
Ultimate people. You would think there would be lots more as we should be
considered teh core customers you want to keep motivated. What's up guys????

Evidently your not the CORE customer just someone that bought into the
expectation of extras coming your way?

My two cents worth, Rich

YMMV?

I've read somewhere that the extras were put on the back burner until SP1
was released, so if that is true we might get some extras in the near future
hopefully. But just like any thing else dont' hold your breath,

Give Microsoft a break.
They can't get Vista work and you're looking for extras?
Vista requires a quad core processor and two Raptor drives in Raid array to
get near the disk access speeds of XP and a single old 1 gb drive.
Cut Microsoft some slack . . .

Vista wasn't designed for the hardware of the past 5 years.......it was
designed for the hardware for the next 5 years, So of course you need more
robust hardware.

Translation: flambe can get one little install of Vista to run
properly...cause he's an incompetent idiot!

Real translation: Frankie uses his mom's computer that came with Vista
pre-installed from BestBuy.
You're totally clueless aren't you?
No, it is YOU that is the clueless Usenet Village Idiot. Aren't you? Never
mind, I know that people with mental illnesses are the last to recognize
the fact that they have the problem. But many have pointed it out to you.
It's time you took our advice seriously and seek professional help.

Another way for apologizing for the bloat that is Vista.

Cheers.

I thought vista was supposed to be simple to use and very robust.

Since you say "you want to keep motivated," you apparently think you
are addressing Microsoft here.

You are not. This is a peer support newsgroup. We are all just Windows
Vista users here, helping each other if and when we can. We are not
Microsoft employees (not even those of us with "Microsoft MVP" behind
our names; that's an honorary title for having provided consistently
helpful advice) except for an occasional employee who posts here
unofficially on his own time.

If you want to address Microsoft, you'll need to contact them.

Well unfortunately there ARE some that are just to dense to be able to use
it no matter HOW simple you make it.
