U opens Utility Manger in Windows 2000

I have seen this post a number of times, but I figured i would try to.

Sometimes, while typing, Hitting the "u" Key automatically opens up
the Utility Manager in Windows 2000 Pro.

I have not seen any resolution to this yet, so any help on this matter
would be greatly appriciated.

I have already disabled the Utility Manager in Administrative
tools/Services

This does not help.

Thanks

If you set the service to Manual does the service start anyway upon boot? Mine is set to Manual and is not started. I have never seen this issue before.

You might have inadvertently hit the "Windows" key when you hit te U key.
Win-U brings up the Utility Manager.
