Two "My Documents" folders in Copy dialog

Whenever I copy or move a file, folder, or a set of either
or both, by opening the Move To or Copy to dialog box in
Windows Explorer, the My Documents folder appears twice.
When I delete one of them (by right clicking), the My
Documents icon disappears from the desktop. When I close
and reopen the dialog, the same behavior occurs.

See if this information applies in your case:

Go to Start/Run/Regedit and navigate to this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersi
on\Explorer\User Shell Folders

Change CommonDesktop from:
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Desktop

To:

CommonDesktop
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop

That doesn't change anything. The My Computer entry is in
between the two My Documents listings such as this example:
My Documents
My Computer
My Documents
