TweakUIPowerToy setup

Everytime I download the XP TweakUIPowerToy, I get the following error message when I try to install it:

TweakUIPowerToySetup.exe - Entry Point Not Found

The procedure entry point GetDllDirectoryW could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll.

I downloaded it at:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

How can I correct this and install the Power Toy? I sure wish Microsoft would support ALL their products.

You are installing the wrong version. There is one for XP and one for XP
w/SP1.

The download options are listed via the link on line 246 (right hand side):

That is the version that expects you to have installed Service pack 1
(SP1). If you have not done so, the earlier version can be found at
http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/TweakUiPowertoySetup.exe

Once installed you will find it in Start - All Programs - Powertoys for
Windows XP

Incorrect. The version 2.10.0 of TweakUI that came out in 2002 will
only install if XP has SP1 installed. I rather doubt if there *is* a
version for XP 64 bit

Thanks, this worked great! I just reinstalled Windows and forgot about updating it to SP1. Will do that now.

Yes - South coast. I've visited the Keys regularly, but not the Gulf
