I have problems turning off Media Sense in XP. It is
clearly explained how to do this in win 2000, but it
seems to have no effect in XP. It is impossible to get a
hostID for FlexLm licenses when not connected to the
network if Media Sense is active. Plese help me?

I've been able to use this on XP:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;239924

It will still sense the disconnection, but will not disable the adapter once
you do this.

I'm not sure if that will satisfy FlexLM's licesne manager software.
Ask them.
