How to Disable Media Sense for TCP/IP in Windows.

how to stop error message and momentary disconnects,

XP Home and XP pro PC's same problem.
Linksys router with dhcp and Netgear uplinked router with
dhcp off. both are 5 port routers.

tried switched uplink cable from crossover to straight.
No change.. Puzzled

please have a look at http://www.michna.com/kb/WxMediaSense.htm.

The better way, however, is to repair the hardware defect that
causes this.
