W2K Media Sensing and NIC teaming

Hi,

KBA 239924 explains how to turn off media sensing in Win 2000. It also says
that this may impact on a system with 2 NICs.

Does anyone know whether a NIC team (created using HP Network Configuration
Utility 7) will continue to function with media sensing disabled. That is
to say, does it use media sensing to determine the operational state of each
NIC or does it interrogate the card directly?

Probably have to ask HP. It is a proprietary setup and they know what it
requires better than anybody else would.
