I am having a serious problem trying to remove McAfee Home
Edition (a security/virus/firewall program) from my hard
drive. For some odd reason as I startup the computer and
my desktop begins to load, I try and go to the Control
Panel and then Add/Remove Programs. But before I can get
there my computer crashes and restarts and this same
scenario repeats to where I never have a chance to do
anything on the desktop. I have tried starting in Safe
Mode and removing the program that way, but an error
message comes up about windows installer not working
properly. All I am trying to do is be able to remove
McAfee so I can normally startup my computer fine. Any
help is much appreciated because I really need this fixed
very soon. Thanks!
