i have a regular cd-rom drive and a cd burning drive. something happened and
now i can't access them from anywhere. windows knows that they're plugged
in, but in the device manager they have the yellow "!". i tried uninstalling
them completely (like windows help told me to), then when i went to reinstall
them, it tells me to insert the cdrom to install the drivers (which i do
have), but that's pointless since those are the drives i'm having trouble
with. ummmm.... help!

thanks alvin. now why doesn't windows have links to things like that inside
of help or something? that was very easy. oh well. thanks again!
