Trouble starting fax program

I am having trouble starting my fax program. The only way I can start it is
to send a fax through Word or Outlook. This starts the fax program and it
continues to run and will receive faxes for that session. How can I start
the fax program on startup? I have been unable to locate the program name
to put it in my startup file.

Any help would be appreciated.

You're right. Thanks for the advice. Its Symantec WinFax Starter Edition

There is no interface to WFSE from the Start menu. However, if you have
enabled automatic reception, the fax module will run in the background
anytime you start Outlook and will receive faxes. More troubleshooting
information here:

Thanks, but even tho Automatic Receive Fax is selected,
the module does not automatically load and run. However,
once I cause it to be loaded (by sending a fax), it does
stay resident and will receive faxes.

I visited the link you suggested and did reinstall the
program and did select the Automatic Receive option. No
help.

Problem is; it won't load unless I send a fax first.
Thoughts?

I posted all known WFSE troubleshooting information on the website already
referenced.
As for thoughts, that's easy. This program was abandoned almost before it
was released because it worked so poorly. No development or troubleshooting
has ever been done for it. It is no longer supported or even relevant with
current operating systems and Office versions. Sorry, it's time to move on.
