Trendnet TFM-560E - PCCARD Fax Modem

Hi Modem experts,
I have a trendnet faxmodem 56K V.90 TFM-560E modem. I was traveling
and accidentally left my cable for it at home and I attempted to use
another older LT winmodem. My current ltmdmnt.sys file is suplied by
agere and it is in system32/drivers. The version is 8.30.0.0.

When I try to use this modem to dial into networks it does all the
dialling etc but finished with 'no answer' from the modem being
called.

I believe the problem could be that when I tried to get my old pc card
modem working (an old win98 one) I downloaded the latest LT winmodem
drivers from lucent and installed them. So I do not have the
lthomol.exe and .inf or the ltmdmnt.sys supplied with my trendnet
modem. (I am travelling again and I'm a long way from my CD for that
card.)

Does anyone know what version of lthomol or ltmdmnt.sys I should be
using for the trendnet faxmodem 56K V.90 TFM-560E modem, and where I
might download it from?

Any pointers much appreciated...

Hi All,
just in case it helps someone else....I found my problem. It turns out
the ltmdmnt.sys file at 8.30.0.0 is no upwardly compatible with the
older version that came with the modem which turned out to be around
version 5.7. I found an old image of my C drive backed up (hey, a
backup that was useful) by ghost, fetched out the previous version of
the driver and all was ok.

Like I said, hope it helps someone else....I really thought that the
later release of the driver would be compatible with the earlier so I
never looked at it as the problem...
