transflash not accessible

Dell 4600C, 512 ram, 80G, IE 7 Beta. I am using a motorola flash card reader.
I have uninstall and reinstalled all drives for USB ports. Have uninstalled
and reinstalled the card reader driver (generic windows). Went to computer
management, disk management and it does not show my E drive, but if I go to
my computer it shows that the E drive is present. I unhooked everything in my
usb ports except my keyboard, monitor, mouse, and tried the reader in every
port and still my computer shows the E drive. The error message is: E:\ is
not accessible incorrect function. Can or is there a place I can download a
driver to try to see if it works. I am using sandisk 256 mb cards. I have
tried 2 new readers and 4 new cards all with the same results. Does anyone
have a suggestion as to how I can get the reader to work? Thanks, Dale

Sounds like a dead mount point. The problem here is that you have
no volume for the mount point so Windows does not show it in the
Disk Management so you have no chance to delete it.
Try my tool DelMountPoint:

It's a console application, so open a Command Prompt, and
enter

delmountpoint E:

Please let us know if it helps.
