transfering software

Hello:
I recently upgraded to Win XP from Win 98. I made a copy
in a CD of the Win Zip downloaded program to be
transferred to the new windows. I have tried to instll it
but I couldn't do it. Can somebody explain to me how this
is done? Thanks.

Just go to the WinZip site and download the program anew.
You may have just copied the installed .exe program and
don't have the files needed to install the program. It is
also possible that there is a difference in the program as
installed on W98 or W XP.
