You need a scanner that has an attachment for slides such as this:

I have a question also about transferring slides. The ones I have are called Ektachrome. They were called Super Slides back in the day. I have tried a picture scanner, both hand held and a flatbed scanner. The problem is the software is for 35mm film and this is not considered 35mm so when it scans it cuts off part of the picture. Any suggestions?
