To add to the discussion (and I wasn't quite sure where to add it, so I'll
just mumble to myself for a bit...)

I am a voracious reader. Always have been, especially biography and fiction
(all kinds.) One quotation that managed to stick with me from my very early
adulthood is from Heinlein's "Time Enough for Love".

"A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher
a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts,
build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders,
cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure,
program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly.
Specialization is for insects."

Relevance? I dunno... Just been tickling my mind all day, <s>.

You failed to mention: Deliver a pizza, double on sax, remove embarrassing
stains from contour sheets, and find the slipper from under the chaise
*longue* (you listening, Bear?). <G>

But I do like it Gary...a very elegant notion. Thanks.

Dear Sir,

I've changed my mind regarding redirection of your postings to certain
device.

I didn't mean to accuse you but apparently I used wording that is terribly
wrong. I didn't mean to slam you at all, and I didn't have any evidence that
you're distributing virus, or links to malicious code. The fact that the
style of your initial announcement reminds me of several recent scams that I
recieved, doesn't make a good excuse. I'm sorry for confusing you with Jim
Eshelman, and I admit my total ignorance as I didn't know anything about
aumha.org site, which is apparently is a great resource with millions happy
users. Considering that all, I extend my sincere apologies to LuckyStrike
and those who feel offended by my rather silly comment.

I am massively cross-posting this message to achieve most visibility of my
shame.

Kindest regards,

Dear Svyatoslav,

The apology you offered and expressed most clearly and succinctly is
welcomed and accepted with an open mind and heart. Not being one to harbor a
grudge, I am content to let bygones be bygones. I trust that you too will
let this pass into "history", that we will again meet - this time most
amicably, and will share the common view to help people, and not hurt them.

With renewed faith in the kindness and goodness of people.

Very truly yours,

Svyatoslav,

I see you've met my friend PCR, the rhyminator; please don't hold this
against me. <S> Actually, I have utmost respect and a certain camaraderie
with PCR, and you will see he is a person of very high caliber. Just don't
let him use one of the bigger calibers such as a .45 on you. You must watch
him closely!
