Title icon

I have created many websites using Frontpage 2003 but have only just
noticed that two of them do not have their icon next to the title. For
example www.easynn.com has its icon before the title but
www.justnn.com has a default document icon. The html is very similar
for both sites and neither have a line that references an icon.

What am I doing wrong?

Have you uploaded a favicon.ico to the root folder of www.justnn.com ?

That's it. The problem now is I can't remember were the favicon.ico
comes from. I must have created the ones that work years ago in Visual
studio but I have forgotten how. It's my age!

You would need a graphics program, not VS.

I have created 16 * 16 icons with VS which have been used as
favicon.ico but I know that's not the best solution. I have just had a
play with http://www.favicon.cc/ which seems to work and is free. I
will now have a look at http://favicon.com

I write C++ most of the time so switching to produce web stuff catches
me out every time.

Visual studio is not an image editor . *.ico files are images, no different
from any icon you would see on your Windows desktop.

You need an image editor to create the *.ico file.
