Time resets everytime system standby

everytime i logout or the system goes to standby, the time stops. I
initially thought it was the battery so i replaced yesterday, but i am still
having the same preoblem.

has anyone else come accross this and does anyone know of a solution,

Hi Michael,

See if this helps:

1. Start->Run cmd.exe
2. net stop w32time
3. w32tm /unregister [ignore error message]
4. w32tm /unregister
5. w32tm /register
6. net start w32time
