Hello all,

After installing HP Simple Backup I started getting this error
message so I uninstalled the simple backup which by the way worked
under Windows XP before I installed SP-2. So, I uninstalled it but I
still get the error message as follows.

Error signature: BEX P1:tfswctrl.exe P2 1.2.93.0 P3: 3c082b85
P4: kERnel32.dll P5: 5.1.2600.2180 P6: 411096b4 p7: 00010f8b
P8: c0000409 P9 00000000

C:\DOCUME~1\Albert\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERc08e.dir00\tfswctrl.exe.mdmp

C:\DOCUME~1\Albert\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERc08e.dir00\appcompat.txt

This error message comes on every time I boot the computer so I have
sent in the error message several times. Has anyone else had this
experience and if so what did you do to take care of it, I am
completely stumped.

I thank you ahead of time,

Albert

Hi,

Sounds like the packet-writing software is still trying to run. Start/run
msconfig and look for it on the startup tab. Uncheck the relevant entry.
