Right-Click crash afte Win98 to WinXp upgrade

Jeff

I just upgraded my P3 933mhz w/ 256 ram from a Win98se to Win XP home. Its
completely updated to Sp2 and to the latest updates. (Even my MS mouse
software)
Every thing works wonderful, Except everytime I right click any file, the
system stalls and finally an DBX error box pops - " DrWatson Postmortem
Debugger" saying Dr Watson Postmortem Debuuger has encountered a problem and
needs to close.
The error signature: EventType: BEX P1:drwtsn32.exe P2:5.1.2600.0 P3:
3b7d84a2 P4: dbghelp.dll P5: 5.1.2600.21800 P6: 4110969 P7: 0001295d
P8: c0000409 P9: 00000000
Error report contents:
C:\DOCUME~1\CAROLP~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERaf12.dir00\drwtsn32.exe.mdmp
C:\DOCUME~1\CAROLP~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERaf12.dir00\appcompat.txt

I cannot cut, copy or paste any files or the system crashes.
Could this be a software conflict or an incompatibile driver conflicts?
Any ideas or solutions ?
Thanks
Jeff

SUCCESS!!
Thanks Malke!
I downloaded ShellExView and I found that I had installed a thumbview (for
pictures)program that apparently is not compatible with Windows XP. I
disabled the context thumbview shell extension and everything works again.
Whoopee,
Jeff

Excellent! Glad to hear everything is sorted. Thanks for taking the time
