Direct Access Component Problem

I started my computer a couple of days ago and got an error message that
reads:
“Direct Access Component Has Encountered An Error And Needs To Close.â€

It then asks you if you want to send an error report to Microsoft. Here is
what
it will send:

Error signature
EventType: BEX P1: tfswctrl.exe P2:1.3.1.0 P3: 3c7fe00b
P4: kernel32.dII P5: 5.1.2600.2180 P6: 411096b4 P7: 00010f8b
P8 : c0000409 P9 : 00000000

Error Report Content
C:\DOCUME~1\Mac\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER567d.dir00\tfswctrl.exe.mdmp
C:\DOCUME~1\Mac\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER567d.dir00\appcompat.txt

My computer still seems to be working but now each time I turn it on I get
this same error message. Is there a way of fixing this problem. I have no
idea what it is. I've run Norton (2003) WinDoctor and it says everything is
fine. Thanks for the help. The problem may have occurred when I was
listening to a CD using the Creative Playcenter and surfing the Internet, but
I'm not sure.

My system: P4-2.4gig, 1gig ram, WinXP Hm SP2, Westell Wirespeed DSL modem,
Linksys BEFSR41 Router, ISP=SBC.

Not much help "Guess Who".... I've been running SP2 for months now without
a problem. I haven't added any new programs or made any changes. Can
someone give me an idea of what this problem might be and how to keep the
message from displaying every time I turn on the computer? I really would
appreciate some real help. Thanks, Mack

If you would read previous posts you would see no one really knows whats
going on. Sorry if it's no help to you because it's not any help to me either
I uninstalled SP2 and everything went back to normal.
