Think I Did a MAJOR Boo Boo

Late the other night I was installing Messenger 7.5 and somehow.....lost all
of my downloads, received files, a lot of programs, and my desktop icons and
picture. My disk space is low as I am an online DJ, so it is almost as if
all of my music is still there somewhere. Can someone PLEASE help me?

System Restore sounds like your best bet.

It'd be a nice time to be running GoBack or have daily backups.

You problem sounds very similar to mine & I think I may know where all your
stuff is!!!!
Go to: My Computer
Go to: Local Disc (C
Go to: Documents and Settings
There should be a number of files in there one of which will be named after
the user account your looking for. All being well you'll find everything you
had in there.

Everything you've done since will be in Documents and Settings and a file
marked TEMP.
So that solves finding your stuff but If you find out how to put things back
the way they were let me know!!!!!!!
