I've been using Mint V.11 for a whiles now and still have the standard desktop image in place. It's ok but I want something else. I've just spent about half hour browsing and can't find anything I like.

There are very few desktops that appeal to me but when I find one I like I tend to keep it, I'm not one for constantly changing. A penguin theme would be good but I don't like these smartass desktops that knock Windows, thassa bit childish imo and reeks of smugness.

Having said that, my last desktop for Mint V.9 was three penguins dressed as characters from the film 'Kill Bill' which I suppose is a bit anti-MS but I liked the image. Might end up using that again.

I need inspiration!

Thanks Urmas, me like your 'for instance'.

But, erm, I'd seen most of those.

There were a few 'maybes' but nothing leapt out and grabbed me round the throat, as it were.

I will now burst into an old sixties song 'Searching, searching, I gotta keep searching...'

(Now who the hell sung that? Someone like Duane Eddy. Hmm...)

Glad you found something flops. :D

I started to use Bing as Google keeps on showing me US prices and sites and I'm blowed if I can figure out how to get UK stuff:confused:I used to be able to get UK stuff on Google straight out of the box in FF but it went west after a update a few months ago.:(

Windows 7 below.

Go to Google.co.uk, or check your settings. :)

Recently changed my Win 98 desktop.

How's this for a pervy pic then? It's one of a set of wallpaper pix from the Xbox 360 Deathsmiles Game disk.
