The Case of the Missing Folders

I have the Google Toolbar installed so that I can check the PR o
sites linking to my site. Recently the Page Rank bar stopped workin
along with several other items - View Source and at least on
JavaScript function (history.back()). Now the weired thing is tha
this only happens in one user account, all other accounts are OK.
ran the latest security release from MS and this seems to have fixe
the View Source and JavaScript problems, However the Page Rank bar i
still not working (only on this one account). I think it must hav
someting to do with missing folders on that user account. I hav
found that the Folder hierarchy in this account stops at Document
and Settings > User > Local Settings > Temporary Interne
Files. The usual setup is Documents and Settings > User > Loca
Settings > Temporary Internet Files > Content.IE5
OthersFolders(ABFRGHD). If I run a virus scan on the Doc and Setting
folder I can see that the scanners are looking at files in the folder
that have somehow become hidden > Content.IE > Others. So I hav
come to the conclusion that because these folders have somehow becom
hidden it is effecting the Google PageRank and was also causing th
View Source and JavaScript problems. Sorry for the length of the pos
- anyone seen this before and how to fix the hidden folders

Windows Explorer normally hides the subfolders in Content.IE5.
In IE | Tools | Internet Options click Clear Files in the Temporary Internet
files section.
