"The address list could not be displayed. "

I moved my Outlook 2003 .pst file from my older computer to my new (faster)
computer. All seemed to be going well until I created a new email and
clicked on the 'To:...' when I got the following message:

"The address list could not be displayed. The Contacts folder associated
with the address list could not be opened; it may have been moved or
deleted, or you do not have permissions. For information on how to remove
the folder from the Outlook Address book, see Microsoft Office Help."

What am I supposed to be looking for in the help system? I'm stuck. How do
I get this working?

Thanks.

Yes, most likely. Note that it's not that the address book is "damaged" as
per the article, just disconnected from the profile. This happens frequently
when you use an old pst in a profile and attach it after opening outlook. If
you add it when you create the profile (using control panel, mail) it should
be ok. Unfortunately the way most people set up a profile in outlook is with
the first time use wizard and that doesn't let you set a pst.
