Text Prints but not visible on screen

I've created a presentation using the format suggested in "Beyond Bullet
Points." It is a very picture/graphic intense approach. As I created my
slides I used a text box to note the kind of graphic that I thought would
work for that slide. My intent was to go back and remove the "notes" later.
Well, I've run into a problem. When I view the presentation on-line, in any
manner, the text is not visible. However, when I print a hard copy of the
presentation, the note overlay the photos and graphics.

I have not removed them from the presentation.
I have "deconstructed" more than one slide, moving the picture and the title
placeholder (often the only two items on the screen) off of the slide and
then attempted to select the text (which is invisble). There apparently is
nothing to select.

I know this is strange, but I cannot "find" the text in my slides that
prints on the hard copy. In all cases it is simply black text in a text box.
What am I missing?

Can you "see" the outline of the text box on the slide?
This happened to a customer of mine a while back. They had added the word
draft to every slide, it was white on white yet it showed up on the slides
when printed. Changing the Font color on the text box made it visible on the
slide, then they could change/delete it.

Thank-you for your response. I considered the problem you describe, but that
was not the case. I found that I had entered the text boxes over the slide
area while in the Notes View. As a result, when I tried to find the text on
the slide, it was not present. But, when I looked at the Notes page the text
was visible and could be deleted. This is also consistent with how it
printed.

Chalk another one up to user error. And kudos to my wife who was
instramental in finding the solution.
