Text Messaging

Greetings:

Trying to learn if there is anything in XP that will allow text messaging
through dial up. Please advise.

By "text messaging", I assume you mean messages sent to a cell phone. Do a
search for SMS Messaging software on Google. There used to be some decent
freeware stuff that would do send SMS messages, but it's been a while since
I've looked. You'll probably have to buy something now.
